new | NDD Print Host Proxy Reverse Module to optimize the processing of print logs

We have added the NDD Print Host Proxy Reverse module, a component that optimizes the handling and consolidation of print log files (NPL and NSL), providing improved processing performance.

NDD Print Host Proxy Reverse is available via a standalone installer. The installer, as well as the prerequisites for deployment and configuration, can be found in the manual.

fix | “Value cannot be null” error when sending a request with empty parameters

Requests sent by MF to the NDD Print Host could return the error “Value cannot be null” when they contained parameters with no value.

We have adjusted how these requests are handled to correctly validate the parameters and prevent failures in processing.

fix | High number of sessions with the SQL database

During NDD Print Host synchronization, the module could open many sessions with the SQL database, increasing server resource consumption.

We added indexes to the NDD Print Host tables to optimize queries during synchronization and reduce resource consumption.

fix | NPL files are being generated without print data

The presence of special separator characters in the queue or printer name could result in NPL files being generated without print data.

We have adjusted how these characters are handled to ensure that complete NPL files are generated.

fix | Pop-ups appearing unexpectedly on print servers

In some cases, pop-ups would appear unexpectedly on servers running the NDD Print Agent during the processing or release of print jobs. This behavior could interrupt the release of held documents when print policies were active, such as duplex conversion.

Jobs are now correctly identified as originating from workstations, not from the server, preventing pop-ups from appearing and ensuring that print jobs are processed and released without interruption.

fix | Documents are not printing when account assignment is enabled

Documents might not have been printed when account assignment was enabled.

The account configurations defined on the workstation are now preserved correctly, allowing documents to be printed.

fix | Print job being requested again during release

When account assignment was enabled, the device did not load the account data already assigned to the agent, forcing the user to repeat the process.

We have fixed the failure that prevented the release of held documents when selecting a corporate account. The system now correctly preserves the account settings on the workstation.

fix | Error 1053: “The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely manner” after enabling traces

After enabling traces, the NDD Print Agent service would unexpectedly stop and fail to start, displaying error 1053: “The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely manner.”

We adjusted the compression of the trace files to improve reliability and optimize service startup.

In this version of NDD Print Collector Kyocera, we’ve introduced significant improvements in equipment monitoring, safety, and integration.

Configuration of NDD Print Collector Kyocera is now performed through NDD Print ECT, replacing the process previously carried out via the printer’s panel.

In addition to this update, this version includes:

• Support for SNMP v3, with advanced authentication and privacy settings;

• A new multi-device monitoring feature, allowing you to monitor up to 20 devices;

• Integration with NDD Orbix for sending meter information, supply status, and monitoring data.

To comply with the new Federal Revenue Service regulations, NDD Print Portal 360 has been updated and is now able to support the new alphanumeric CNPJ format, allowing users to enter letters and numbers in the input field.

We have fixed an issue that prevented interaction with the buttons on the Xerox VersaLink C7120 printer panel after authentication, thereby blocking the print flow.

The fix adjusts the interface's behavior when clicking the buttons, ensuring that commands are executed correctly and restoring the print flow on the equipment.

fix | Applying Copy Policies to Printers Without a Copy Quota

We have fixed an issue that prevented copy policies from being applied to printers configured without a copy quota.

Now, when a user logs in to the printer, the system checks for active copy policies and automatically configures their application, without requiring any changes to the printer.

DOCUMENTATION | Improvements to the documentation - Quotas

Based on feedback we received, we added a note to the documentation Enable shared quotas in the NDD Print Portal 360 to clarify how quota control works when a user does not have an associated account.

The documentation now states that jobs from users not associated with an account are not counted toward quota limits and, for this reason, are not displayed in quota reports. However, print jobs continue to be logged as usual and remain available in print job reports.

Based on feedback, we have improved the documentation (Current-en) manual-nddprinthost-en-US Set in-memory data cache expiration time .

We added a note to clarify how the configuration works, highlighting the benefits of keeping the default value of 180 minutes and the impacts of reducing that time.

new | Centralized configuration of HP readers in MF HP

An enhancement has been implemented in NDD Print MF HP that allows for the centralized configuration of HP card readers, making it easier to define default card types and automatically apply these settings to new printers.

The feature also supports the reuse of settings in bulk imports via CSV and the simultaneous update of multiple devices. In addition, configurations are now stored in a database and are automatically migrated after a version update.

new | New buttons for creating, establishing connections to, and migrating databases

New buttons have been added to NDD Print MF HP to automate the processes of creating, performing connection tasks, and migrating databases, simplifying the environment configuration.

With these new features, you can connect existing databases, automatically create new database structures, and perform data migrations between environments, with validation and automatic saving of configurations throughout the process.

fix | Failure with automatic creation of database tables during initialization

We fixed an issue during the startup of NDD Print MF HP, where the database structure validation was incomplete. In some cases, the service would start normally even with missing tables, causing errors during execution.

Now, the process automatically reads the database configuration, validates the connection, creates the database when necessary, identifies missing tables, and creates the missing structures before the service starts.
