NDD Print Client Ricoh - 5.13.3

Improvements
Improvements to Physical Authentication
The messages and icons for physical authentication have been standardized to support multiple identification methods, such as cards, biometrics, facial recognition, and barcodes. Specific references to cards have been replaced with generic terminology based on identifiers, making the interface more consistent and adaptable to different identification technologies.
Improvements in the handling of communication failures
Communication errors and timeout handling have been improved, with automatic activation of contingency mode when necessary. Authentication messages and logs have also been revised, providing greater reliability, traceability, and diagnostic capabilities for the system.
NDD Print Digital Shift Epson - 5.0.10
Released on June 25, 2026
Fixes
Improved identification of scanned files in the shared folder
The naming convention for files generated by NDD Print Digital Shift in the shared folder has been improved. Scan files now include the printer serial number and the scan date and time in their filenames.
The naming convention will be similar to:

Scanned files remain in the folder after the process is interrupted
In some situations, when the user interrupted the scanning process (by returning to the initial screen or closing the session before it was complete), the scanned file would remain in the shared folder without the processing being completed.
We have implemented a mechanism that maintains the processing flow even when the user interrupts the scanning process, preventing files from remaining pending in the shared folder.
Preservation of settings during an update
When updating NDD Print Digital Shift Epson from versions prior to 5.0.7 to newer versions, system configurations could be lost, requiring the environment to be reconfigured.
We have adjusted the update process to preserve existing configurations and correctly replace the application files. As a result, the configurations are retained and the service starts normally upon completion.
Failure to validate passwords containing the special character “#”
In environments where users had passwords containing the # character, validation of access to shared folders failed, preventing credentials from being validated and access from being granted, even when the necessary permissions were in place.
We have adjusted how passwords are handled when they are sent for validation, ensuring normal access to shared folders for users with this type of password.
Automatic update of the IP address of a printer registered by hostname
In environments where the Epson printer was registered in Digital Shift using the hostname, changing the IP address could prevent access to Digital Shift, causing the printer to be identified as unregistered.
We have implemented an improvement to automatically detect the updated IP address based on the hostname and update this information in the system when necessary.
Service freezes while sending scans
In some situations, the service would become unavailable while a scan was being processed, causing the operation to exceed the time limit and preventing the file from being sent. We optimized the file verification process before sending, thereby improving the stability of the process.

Released on June 23, 2026
Fixes
Error 50106/50107 when searching for the authentication method on the login screen
We implemented a local cache for authentication information to reduce frequent queries to the NDD Print Host and the level of load on the authentication services. We also optimized the processing of authentication requests. As a result, the average response time was reduced by more than 50%, decreasing the occurrence of errors 50106 and 50107 caused by communication timeouts.
Scanning and copying failure when the “Quota on Copies” option is enabled
In some cases, scanning and copying operations failed due to inconsistencies in communication with the printer and in the validation of printer configuration settings, particularly on networks with high latency, printers registered by hostname, or secondary servers.
We have improved communication and equipment validation. As a result, scanning, copying, and printer management processes now operate more reliably.
Improved compatibility for printers registered by hostname
We have improved the handling of hostname and IP addresses in the embedded application to make the identification, validation, and revalidation of printers registered by domain name more consistent. We have also implemented a complementary mechanism for automatic hostname resolution to IPv4, increasing the stability and reliability of communication with the equipment.
Displaying documents that do not correspond to the authenticated user
We have fixed an issue with authentication management that, in certain situations, caused pending documents to be displayed incorrectly after users were exchanged on the printer. This update ensures that the information displayed is always linked to the authenticated user, thereby strengthening session isolation and ensuring consistency in document access.
NDD Print MF Brother - 5.12.2
Released on June 17, 2026
Fixes
Expired certificate failure when adding equipment with BSI accounting
Fixed an issue that caused an expired certificate alert to appear when adding new equipment with BSI accounting. To resolve this issue, the certificate was updated through the manufacturer.
If you need to enable BSI, refer to the manual.
