Quotas are part of a set of features designed to control and optimize the use of printing resources, and can be managed by users, printers, or shared accounts.
In summary, the behaviors are as follows:
-
No printing restrictions: When informational (non-blocking) quotas are in place, users will see their quota status and can print normally, even after reaching the quota limit.
-
Blocked printing: When the quota limit is reached and new prints are restricted, users will be prevented from continuing.

The quota feature is configured exclusively through NDD Print Portal 360, while the NDD Print Client Pantum handles notifications and device blocking.
Detailed instructions for this configuration can be found at the link below:

The icon’s colors will reflect the user’s quota balance and settings, based on the following conditions
-
Blue Icon: The user is logged in and can print normally.
-
Yellow Icon: The user has exceeded their quota limit, but can still print (informational quotas; printing is not blocked).
-
Red Icon: The quota limit has been exceeded, preventing further printing (blocking quotas).
