Installing the NDD Print Embedded Configuration Tool (ECT)
The ECT is typically installed on the same server as the NDD Print suite modules. However, since its sole purpose is to install/uninstall and send configurations to Pantum devices, there is no need to install it on a server.
-
Open the NDD Print Embedded Configuration Tool (ECT) and select the manufacturer 'Pantum'
-
Click Configure
-
Insert the information below:
-
Single Printer
-
Address: Enter the IP address of the printer on which the NDD Print Client Pantum will be installed
-
Username: Enter the printer administrator's username
-
Password: Enter the printer administrator password
-
-
-
Once the information has been entered, ECT will send a command to the printer to begin the uninstallation process for the NDD Print Client Pantum. Once this process is complete, the printer will restart automatically.
The NDD Print Embedded Configuration Tool (ECT) also supports bulk uninstallation for multiple printers. To do this, a .CSV file containing three columns is used: one for the printer’s IP address, another for the user, and a third for the device’s administrative password.
