Software

Required software

Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6.1 or higher;

SYSTEM account with full control rights on MF's InetPub, Windows and PatchInstall directories;

IIS with the following active items:

  • Common HTTP Features (All);

  • Application Development (All);

  • Operation and Diagnostics (HTTP Log Creation and Request Monitor);

  • Security (Basic and Windows Authentication);

  • Performance (Static Content Compression);

  • Management Tools (IIS Management Console);

  • Compatibility with IIS 6 Management (All);

  • WCF service, with the HTTP Activation option enabled.

If IIS is not configured on the server, the installer activates these functions automatically.

HTTP communication protocol between the modules:

  • NDD Print Host - Port TCP 56562

  • NDD Print Releaser - Port TCP 56563

HTTPS communication protocol between the modules:

  • NDD Print Host - Port TCP 56569

  • NDD Print Releaser - Port TCP 56570

From version 5.5.1 of NDD Print MF Epson, communication between NDD modules will be exclusively via HTTPS.

DCS communication protocol between the modules:

  • NDD Print Host and NDD Print Releaser - Port 5656

Communication with equipment:

  • HTTPS - Port TCP 443

  • HTTP - Port TCP 80

  • SNMP - Port UDP 161

ICMP protocol, released on the network

Approved databases and their prerequisites

Prerequisites

Create user SA with sysadmin rights

After creating the database, you can use an account to read and create records in the table.

SQL language and the language of the user who creates the database must be in English.

Important: Check the status of the Auto Close parameter setting. If there is a database that will be used by NDD Print MF Epson, the parameter must be set to FALSE.

If not, follow the instructions to reconfigure it: Auto Close Configuration.
