Best Practices for the NDD Print Client Canon

In this article, we outline some best practices for installation, update, or administration of the NDD Print Client Canon.

Safety

1. Use the device administrator account for the installation and configuration of the application.

2. The password for the device administrator account must be set and cannot be left blank.

3. Always use the latest firmware version provided by the manufacturer.

4. Always use the specific driver for each piece of equipment that is compatible with the operating system.

Administration

1. Configure authentication in NDD Print Host when using the Authentication and/or Secure Release features. Learn how to configure authentication in the NDD Print Host module
