Process prerequisite

Opening the Troubleshooting Tool


To validate the operation of the NDD Print communication ports > tab NDD Print Ports

Enter the required data:

Test form: It allows you to define whether the test will be performed on all ports or only on a specific port;

  • Default ports;

  • Specific port;

Server address: Server network address where the communication test will be performed. If it is on the same machine, use IP 127.0.0.1;

Protocol: It allows you to select the connection type where the test will be executed.

  • TCP;

  • UDP;

  • Both;

Port: It allows to inform the port that will be validated;

Test now;

Ping: It displays the connection test result of each port;

  • Open (in use): The por tis already in use in a TCP connection;

  • Closed: The port is available and communicating correctly, it can be used in TCP connections;

  • Available: The port is available for UDP connections;

  • Unavailable: The port is blocked for UDP connections;

  • Error: When the port is unavailable, a message will be displayed informing you that communication has failed.
