Overview
The NDD Print Host OCR (Optical Character Recognition) module was developed to process scanned files more efficiently, reducing the time it takes to deliver them to their final destination.
The system supports documents in PDF and XPS formats.

Installation and Configuration
Installation Process

Make sure you have NDD Print Host version 5.65.0 or later installed.

Run the installer as an administrator: NddPrintHostOcrModule_1.0.0.exe

Configuration is performed automatically by the NDD Print Host OCR Module.
Database Configuration

SQLite: The installer performs the configuration automatically.

SQL Server: On the screen that appears, enter the connection name, user name, and password.
The connection test is performed before proceeding.
Performance Configuration
In the Digital Shift panel, the administrator can allocate resources to the NDD Print Host OCR.
The maximum allowed usage is up to 75% of the server's capacity, ensuring that other services are not impacted.
Resource allocation options (such as 10%, 20%, or 30%) are automatically set based on the server's available hardware capacity.
Note:
You must restart the NDD Print Host OCR services after saving new performance configurations.
