Online installation

In this article, you will learn how to install the NDD Print Client Canon online.

Before you start

  • Ensure that the device is connected to the internet.

  • Please note the location (EMEA or LATAM) of the package you wish to license and install.

Installation

  1. Access the printer's web

  2. Log in as the Administrator user

  3. In the right-hand side menu, click Settings/Registration

  4. On the left side menu, click on License/Other

  5. Click Register/Update Software

Install the application responsible for authentication (NDD Print Client)

  1. Fill in the License Access Number with the serial number according to the region of the device:

The Latin America (LATAM) application can only be installed offline because of certain limitations.

  1. Click Next and wait for the NDD Print Client to be found

  2. Select the NDD Print Client and click Start installation

  3. Wait for it to finish and click To Distributed Installation

To install the application responsible for release the documents (NDD Print Client Access)

  1. Fill in the License Access Number with the serial number according to the region of the device:

Latin America (LATAM)

The Latin America (LATAM) application can only be installed offline because of certain limitations.

  1. Click Next and wait for the NDD Print Client Access to appear

  2. Select NDD Print Client Access and click Start installation

  3. Wait for it to finish and click To Portal in the top right corner

Before restarting the device, you can Configuring the initialization of the NDD Print Client Canon after authentication.

After installing the applications, restart the printer:

  1. Return to the printer's web homepage by clicking To Portal in the top right corner

  2. In the right sidebar, click on Settings/Registration

  3. In the left sidebar, click the Restart Device button

  4. Click the Perform Restart button

  5. Click the OK button

Wait for the printer to restart to Configuring the NDD Print Client Canon.
