Distribute the settings

This section describes the procedure for importing the configuration for distribution to other printers.

Before you start

Make sure you have exported the settings

Setting up iWEMC

  1. Select Data Management > Device Setting Values

  2. Click on Choose file and select the previously exported file

  3. Fill in the User and Password configured in the export

  4. Click on Upload

Setting up the configuration distribution task

  1. Select Tasks > Task list

  2. Click the + Create button

  3. Search for [Device configuration] Distribute

  4. Now we have to configure the 3 tabs:

Scheduled

  1. Fill in the Task name

  2. Click on Active

  3. Under Execution Schedule, select Execute now

Targets

Select the group of printers or choose the printers individually so that the configuration is distributed

Task-Specific Settings

Select the configuration that will be distributed among the printers

  1. Click on Add

When this task is executed, the selected printers will be restarted. This procedure may take a few minutes.
