In NDD Print, you can apply policies that control printing behavior, such as:
Print Block
Restricts the ability of certain users, groups, or printers to print.
Document Conversion
Automates the conversion of color prints to black and white.
Safety and Tracking
Detailed tracking and monitoring of printed documents.
How Does It Work?
When a document is sent to print, the NDD Print Agent identifies information such as: user, domain, application, number of pages, print type (color or black-and-white), and more. This information is sent to the NDD Print Host, which checks whether the print job matches any previously configured policies.
Let’s view an example of a user-based blocking policy:
Se a política estiver configurada para bloquear impressões do usuário usuario_teste, que pertence ao dominio_teste, a impressão será bloqueada. No entanto, se o usuário estiver no dominio_oficial, a política não será aplicada.
