When a printer is configured to transmit data, two processes are created in the database:
-
job accounting in NDD Print 360;
-
monitoring of meters and supplies in MPS.
Although these are different processes, both are linked to the same equipment. Therefore, it is not possible to delete the printer directly from the database. The exclusion must be performed manually on both portals. Direct removal via the database would require breaking the links between the processes, an operation that is not currently supported.
Procedure
-
In portal 360, disable the printer’s accounting
-
In the MPS Portal, disable the printer’s monitoring
-
In the MPS Portal, go to the Companies tab and locate the company associated with the printer
-
Access the company’s properties, open the Synchronization tab, and synchronize the company
-
After synchronization is complete, locate and select the printer in the NDD Print Portal 360. Click the Delete icon to remove it.
-
Repeat the procedure in the NDD Print Portal MPS
Expected Result
After exclusion in both portals, the printer will no longer appear in NDD Print 360 or the NDD Print Portal MPS.
Note: You must perform exclusion for each printer individually. You cannot perform exclusion for printers in batches.
