Manage print applications

User prerequisites:

Master Administrator Permission or

Administrator Permission

Process prerequisites:

None


This setting allows you to register your printing applications, allowing you to identify the type of application.

To view the registered applications > view Settings > menu Accounting > locate Print apps

To create a print application > view Settings > menu Accounting > locate Print apps > click on + Create app and rules

Enter the necessary data, considering:

Application name;

List of rules for the application: It allows you to include rules that will be used to identify applications by clicking "+ Create rule".

Prefix and/or suffix;

Search at the beginning of the title;

Search at the end of the title;

Remove if found: In this case, if the parameter is dispensable for the document title, this configuration allows the same to be removed from title.

Trump character represented by * and/or ?: This setting allows you to locate any part of the document title.

Text by applied rule: It allows you to enter the text that should be located in the titles of the print jobs, see example below:

💡 EXAMPLE

Use * to indicate that there may be more than one character:

  • Between the beginning and the end of the expression:
    DOC*02is equivalent to DOCUMENT02... DOCUMENTARY02... DOCPROJECT02

  • After the start of expression:
    DOC* is equivalent to DOCUMENT2018... DOCUMENTARY... DOCOFICCIAL

Use ? to indicate that there may be only one character:

  • Between the beginning and the end of the expression:
    DO?1is equivalent to DOC1... DO21... DOT1

  • After the start of expression:
    DOC? is equivalent to DOC0... DOC1... DOC2

Application history;

Apply rule to the documents already accounted.

To view the rules of an application > view Settings > menu Accounting > locate Print apps > identify the application to be edited > Edit

To delete an application > view Settings > menu Accounting > locate Print apps > identifier the application to be deleted > Delete Yes

NOTE

Standard system applications can not be deleted.
