HP Workpath

Settings to configure after installing the NDD Print Client HP Workpath and NDD Print Client Collector HP Workpath modules.

Import

Allows you to send settings to multiple devices.

  1. Create a file (.csv format) listing the information for the equipment to be configured

  2. After creating the file, import it by clicking Import File

Printer(s)

Configure settings for a single piece of equipment.

  • Address: Enter the equipment's address (IP address or hostname).

Enabled Modules

Select the modules you want to configure:

NDD Print Client

The NDD Print Client section contains the features that can be enabled for customers who install the client on HP Workpath printers.

  • Secure Release: Enables document hold on the server and configures the NDD Print Releaser service address in the Local Server field.

  • Quotas on Copies: Enables the quota deduction feature for copy jobs

  • Environmental Impact: Enables the display of environmental impact metrics

  • Application Color: allows you to change the application’s color

  • Application Logo: allows you to change the application’s logo

    • Click Browse to select the desired image (200x200 pixels).

Local Server

  • NDD Print Host: enter the address (IP address or hostname) of the server where the NDD Print Host module is installed;

  • NDD Print Releaser: appears when the Secure Release option is active.

    • Enter the address (IP address or hostname) of the server where the NDD Print Releaser module is installed;

Security

Allows you to change the password to access the HP Work

NDD Print Client Collector

Module responsible for collecting data on print jobs, meters, supplies, and printer alerts, and sending them to the server. It operates independently.

  • Default Domain: Enter the default domain to which jobs without an identified domain will be assigned

  • Sending time: Specify the time interval (in hours) at which the data captured by the NDD Print Client Collector module will be sent to the server (Host or Data Center)

  • Application Color: Allows you to change the application’s color

  • Application Logo: Allows you to change the application’s logo

    • Click Browse to select the image you want (200x200 pixels).

  • Enable Agent Monitoring: Enables the sending of application logs, printer monitoring data, and meter and supply information to NDD Orbix.

    • NDD Orbix Network Address: NDD Orbix address.

    • Dealer: Provider name.

    • Company Identification Key: Company identification key.

Primary Server

None: no server.

MPS/360: send accounting data, meter readings, and supplies

Host: send accounting data only

  • Address: enter the address (IP address or hostname) of the Host server. If sending to a data center, enter the address of the data center server;

NDD Data Center Addresses:

  • Enterprise Key: This field must be filled in with the company’s identification key; if you do not have one, please contact your NDD sales representative (only send to Data Center).

Accounting Configuration

  • Printings: The collection of event data for direct print jobs is active;

  • Copies: The collection of event data for copy jobs is active;

  • Scans: The collection of event data for scan jobs is active;

  • Faxes: The collection of event data for fax jobs is active;

Secondary Server

None: No server.

MPS: Send accounting data, meter readings, and supplies

NDD Orbix: Send only meter readings and supplies

Monitoring configuration

  • Collect meters and supplies: The capture and transmission of device meter readings and supplies data are active;

Security

Allows you to change the password to access the NDD Print Client Collector HP Workpath settings.
