Installation

Below are the steps for installing the NDD Print Client on Canon equipment.

Import - CSV

Allows you to send the NDD Print Client Canon installation package to multiple pieces of equipment.

  1. Create a file (in .csv format) listing the IP address, user name, and password for the equipment to be configured

  2. After creating the file, import it by clicking Import File

Enter the information into the CSV file according to the model below, without the quotation marks.

Single Printer

Configure settings for a single piece of equipment:

  • Address: Enter the equipment's address (IP address or hostname).

  • System Manager ID: Enter the equipment's administrator username.

  • System Manager PIN Enter the equipment's administrator password.

Choose Operation

Installation Package

Select the NDD Print Client Canon installation file.

To download the application, access the Resources platform and locate the NDD Print Client Canon.

When you download the installation file, the file extension will be .TAR

Sending Configurations

After the installation of the NDD Print Client Canon, you must load the configurations onto the device.

Import - CSV

Allows you to send NDD Print Client Canon settings to multiple devices.

  1. Create a file (in .csv format) listing the IP address, user name, and password for the equipment to be configured

  2. After creating the file, import it by clicking Import File

Printer

Configure settings for a single piece of equipment:

  • Address: Enter the equipment's address (IP address or hostname).

  • System Manager ID: Enter the equipment's administrator username.

  • System Manager PIN Enter the equipment's administrator password.

Enabled Modules

NDD Print Client
  • Enable Releaser: Specify the equipment administrator

    • Environmental Impact: Enables the display of environmental impact metrics

    • Release Copies Settings: When enabled, prevents the user from changing the quantity of copies of a document at the time of print release

Local Server

  • SNMP Community: enter the information public or private in the SNMP Community field

    • NDD Print Host: enter the address (IP address or host name) of the server where the NDD Print Host module is installed;

    • NDD Print Releaser: enter the address (IP address or host name) of the server where the NDD Print Releaser module is installed;

Removal

Using the Uninstall option, you can uninstall the NDD Print Client Canon module

Import - CSV

  1. Create a file (in .csv format) listing the IP address, user name, and password for the equipment to be configured

  2. After creating the file, import it by clicking Import File
