Important details

The embedded modules are composed of 2 packages:

  • Onboard monitoring and accounting is performed by the NDD Print Client Collector.

  • Secure release/pull printing, authentication control and copier access are enforced by the NDD Print Client.

Observations

Monitoring of Counters, Supplies and Events via network 

All equipment can be monitored via network. All they have to do is support the SNMP protocol.

Network Accounting 

HTTP: Communication is carried out using the HTTP protocol, whereby the Kyocera n-MF accounting service requests the web page containing the printed job information from the printer. Below is a list of approved models

SNMP: Accounting is carried out using SNMP packets sent by the printer when a job is performed.

Email: Accounting is performed by processing an XML file attached to the email sent by the printer.
