To test the compatibility of card readers that are not listed as approved, run the steps below to identify the reader's Vendor ID and Product ID.
Identify Vendor ID and Product ID
Connect the USB reader in a station or server that runs Windows and access Device Manager, after locating the reader, access its Properties, Details, and find the item Hardware ID's.
EXAMPLE
HID\VID_1FC9&PID_0003&REV_0100, onde: Vendor ID é 1FC9 e o Product ID é 0003.
Register the reader's Vendor ID and Product ID in the device
Before plugging the reader in the printer, authenticate as administrator in the Printers WEB Page, access Device Management, Printer Settings, under Settings, click on Program/Change USB devices list. Enter the reader's Product ID and Vendor ID.
After configuring the fields, click OK and plug the reader in the printer's USB port. If the device fails to identify the reader, restart without removing the reader..
IMPORTANT
Keyboard Wedge readers are always ready to be used with the application, as long as it is identified by the MFP;
The compatibility may vary according to the MFP, as well as the reader's version. Require compatibility test;

Configuring RFID readers (Java) for 11.30x and 12x Devices
For these devices, the reader have to be previously connected as input method, along with the Android's logical keyboard:

Upon authentication as administrator, access User Tools > Screen Features > Screen Device Settings Information > IC Card/Bluetooth Software Settings. On IC Card Reader, press Select IC Card Reader and then Proximity Card Reader. Under Proximity Card Reader Settings, check if the reader is being listed. If negative, remove the reader and connect it again.
Disable physical hardware: Used with Keyboard Wedge devices.
User Tools > Screen Features > Keyboard & Input. On Keyboard & Input Methods, touch Default and disable Physical Hardware.
ATTENTION
This configuration must be done before connecting the reader to the MFD.
