FAQ – Configuring and Using SSO on Portal 360
-
Can I use SSO on machines outside the company domain? No. The server and workstation must be on the same corporate domain.
-
What should I do if the authentication pop-up does not appear again?Close the browser completely and reopen it. If the problem persists, clear the cache.
-
Is it possible to use SSO with HTTPS?Yes, as long as the certificate is valid and trusted and both the Portal and the API use the same protocol.
-
Are Active Directory permissions imported into NDD Print Portal 360?No. Portal 360 assigns minimum permissions to users created via SSO.
-
How can I confirm that the authentication keys are correct?Check the API and Portal web.config to see if SSOTokenIssuer, SSOTokenAudienceID, and SSOTokenSecret have identical values.
-
web.config files Please note that there are two web.config files that must be manipulated: one related to NDD Print Portal 360 and the other related to SSO-API.
